Show calendar year: October 1st to September 30th
Complete packet must be submitted by October 15th to be awarded that year.
SCDCTA Medal Program
To qualify for SCDCTA medals the following criteria must be met:
- Rider was an active member of SCDCTA in good standing at time of show.
- Horse was registered with SCDCTA at time of show (multiple horses may be used for medals).
- If scores were earned at a schooling show, the show must have been SCDCTA approved.
- Riders may begin earning scores toward medals starting with the 2007 competition year.
Submission:
- Qualifying test must be submitted on “Medal Report Form".
- Copies of tests for rides that qualify for medals must be attached.
- Mail packet to dressage points coordinator by deadline to be awarded that year.
- Results will only be accepted via mail or personal hand delivery to points coordinator.
MEDALS
There are three (3) categories of the medal program.
These may be earned at SCDCTA schooling shows, USDF shows or a combination of both.
Medals are a rider award and scores can be earned on multiple horses.
Bronze Medal
Six (6) scores of 60% or higher:
- Two (2) from Introductory Level from two different judges, and Four (4) from Training
Level from two different judges.
- OR - Six (6) scores Training level from three different judges.
- At least one test MUST be from Training Level Test Four.
Silver Medal
Four (4) scores of 60% or higher:
- Two (2) scores from First Level from two different judges.
- One must be First Level Test Four.
- Two (2) scores from Second Level from two different judges.
- One must be Second Level Test Four.
Gold Medal
Four (4) scores of 60% or higher:
- Two (2) scores from Third Level from two different judges.
- One must be Third Level Test Three.
- Two (2) scores from Fourth Level from two different judges.
- One must be Fourth Level Test Three.
Performance Certificate
Award for horses (For INDIVIDUAL horses) at all levels Introductory to Grand Prix.
- Ten (10) scores per level from four different judges.
- Four (4) tests from the highest test of each level.
- All 10 scores must be score of 60% or higher.
