0 2012 AWARDS BANQUET - A SUCCESS!

The Annual Awards banquet held January 12th at the Country Club of Lexington was a huge success! We had our largest crowd ever of 112! We had hundreds of wonderful donations for our Silent Auction and it was certainly a highlight of the evening. The food was great and the program ran relatively smooth and was over by 9:30 so all could be on their way. We had many out of town folks attend this year.

Thank you so much to all of those who so generously donated to our auction. And thank you to all of the volunteers that helped to make the banquet so well received. Specific thanks to Jeanine Khoury and Melanie Murphy for the organizing, set up and coordination of the Banquet and Silent Auction; Valerie Swygert for the coordination of the venue with her husband, Mark, and the fabulous awards (the stall plates, the beautiful dressage vests and the chalkboard stall hangers were a hit!); and the Point Coordinators - Lisa Hinkle, Laura Getz and Jill Allard.

Congratulations to our many award winners!

Next year, we will try to accommodate "group seating" with "group sponsored/reserved" tables. We did not realize we would have such a magnificent turnout and will plan for this next year!

Good luck for the 2013 Show Season!

Congratulations to the 2012 Year-End Award Winners!

Thanks to our many Sponsors who made this year's banquet such a success

arrow ATTENTION SCHOOLING SHOW ORGANIZERS:

We have important information for those of you who offer Dressage Seat Equitation classes at your shows. Please note the following, per USEF rules:

The policy for dressage seat equitation is to post riders’ scores, but riders are not allowed to see the judges score card/comments. Riders also may not get a copy of the judge’s score card/comments, even if the other riders’ comments are blacked out.

Please follow this guideline at your SCDCTA recognized shows as well.
